Problems installing. No ISO, WUBI not working

Some Windows based archiving tools can view inside .ISO CD images and
thus they associate with those files and their icons change which is
probably why he's seeing them as archive files.
He may not understand how to correctly burn an image to CD. He might be
just burning the .iso file itself to a CD-R instead of having his
burning software write the image file out to the CD-R. I'm grasping at
straws here because he's being rather vague about how he's burning the
disks. I could be wrong though, its only a theory.
If he wants to install Ubuntu using Wubi he doesn't need to burn the
.iso to CD at all. Grab a copy of Daemon Tools and use it to mount the
.iso image. That is what I did.
