expand /boot partition?

Well my setup is bricked... I think.

I managed to find a vista dvd at work and get it repaired.. its loading fine.

I re-did the the bootloader with easyBCD and point grub is on sda2.
however now, when i chose ubuntu, it acts like it will load grub but
then reboots.... so I'm not sure if this is a grub thing or if  /boot
is now 150M instead of 50M.

Any pointers on this?
