It is still a "release candidate" but up from "beta" which came with the 8.04 
release.  Personally, Firefox 3 has been the best Firefox I have ever used.  
2 has always had so many problems that I used Konqueror most of the time, not 
that having the choice to do so isn't good but... hey!
