According to bug #237690 [1], nik is right: rc2 is the same as rc3 for linux, 
and rc2 is already in hardy-updates, so you can get it from the official 
ubuntu repository:

In software sources, click on the Updates tab, and make sure hardy-updates is 
selected. Then open Update-manager, check for and install the updates.
