I installed Hardy on a brand new dell laptop Inspiron 1720. I was ready
for problems with my wifi ( Intel Corporation PRO/Wireless 4965 AG),
screen (1920x1200), memory (4GB), sound.
No problems what so ever, except for my memory, which I knew. I'm
running 32bit Hardy and not all of my memory was utilized. I recompiled
my kernel with 64GB support and while I as at it I changed to Core2
optimization and I have no problems at all.
