It isn't always about who you know, but how you know them.

The same is true for ignorance, if you are willing to confess your ignorance, and communicate your concern to rectify the situation you are putting yourself in a much better position. RSYNC isn't even an Ubuntu issue (just to point out an example), it's a utility included in many distributions. For someone to complain about a utility like that is akin to buying a 60" plasma Television and complaining that your cable is full of useless channels, that never have programs on.

Arm yourself, and learn what it is that you really need to find out.

Unfortunately I hardly take a cursory glance at what comes into my e-mail inbox with the "From: Karl Larsen". It's nothing personal, just a very bold history.
