That it may do, but I would strongly recommend uninstalling the 169.12
driver with aptitude FIRST, before you install this. Don't ever
manually install something over something installed from packages,
it's dangerous, and should aptitude try to upgrade the package in the
future, checksums etc will fail, with strange results.
