Is there any software in ubuntu to change network settings easily?

Networkmanager now allows you to create multiple static networks. The
option to set this is by right-clicking the networkmanager icon and
choosing "edit network settings". When you're wirelessly connected it
allows you to specify wireless options. When you're cabled up, it
allows for setting ethernet options.
