Oh - sorry - misunderstood. Hmmm - interesting problem. It should
be doable if you have rights to that X session, but I don't know how
exactly...
I think you need to read up on the DISPLAY environment variable and
the xauth program. Hopefully an old X hand will jump in here any time
now.
