Sure, gmail. I should have noticed from the address. Something is wrong
with gmail in this regard, but I don't use it and keep forgetting.

Which command? I just meant that you should attach this file
(/var/log/Xorg.0.log) to a reply. Unless your system is set up very
weirdly, you should certainly be able to read, and thus attach, it.

I'd prefer the log file. It contains a great deal of information about
the card and what goes on during startup of Xorg, and this would be very
helpful. Currently I am not sure what is going on and it would just be
wasting your time to try and help without knowing the details.
