Yes... On my Ubuntu machine, I have KStars and Stellarium (pity KStars
requires so much additional downloads of KDE libs)... On OpenSolaris, I
have yet to get KStars to run, but I have Stellarium.

You are right. KStars is a very good astronomer's tool. It has precice
layout of the sky. It's a great WORKING tool. Stellarium is a
planetarium. It makes for a great DEMONSTRATION tool. I love BOTH. But
yet... they are far behind Starry Night Pro in term of features... Which
is why I keep Starry Night Pro (which is an expensive tool, but,
methinks, well worth the money payed - hey, if they ported to Linux, I
would immediately purchase it for my Ubuntu machine as well).
