I _think_ he's looking for something like this:
[Floppy Disk Daemon - Completely automated mounting/umounting of
floppies.] Can't say that I'd use cpu cycles polling a floppy drive
though... especially when a few clicks of a mouse will mount & unmount
the floppy just fine.
