I think a case could be made for a system behind a NAT connection that
isn't used for general web browsing or reading email may not really need
antivirus today...things could still get in, yes, but in general, it's
not anywhere near what the general user ends up with.

? Afraid that I'll disagree with that statement...worst you can do is
destroy your own data on Linux (or the Mac, for the most part) if you're
not clicking through every request for privilege access and not running
as a root user.
Even less of a problem if you're running something like Tripwire to
check system integrity of files.
