No need for antivirus?  Are you serious?  Everyone needs antivirus.  
Whether they are running Windows/Mac or Linux.  The more popular an OS 
gets (and Ubuntu is a big reason why Linux is getting more popular) the 
more those OS's will be targeted by virus makers.  Sure, the OS is more 
locked down, but it's not impervious to viruses.  Telling people they 
don't need an antivirus when trying to get them to use linux is just 
setting them up to get bit.
