Certainly, and I don't think it's a "problem". Looks like quite a
realistic number to me.

I don't think you can say it like that. There are certainly some more
tech-minded people using Ubuntu than the ones on the list, they just
don't post here. That's why you probably see no mutt users in your
sample. I expect the ratio to be quite different if you sampled some
developer list (and developers are users, too).

Yes. It tells us that the MUA ratio you counted for posts to
ubuntu-users probably represents the MUA ratio of ubuntu-users list
users quite well.

However, the data tells us nothing at all about the MUA ratio among
people who do not post to this list.
