Hi!
Thanks a lot for your answer. My AP is (depending on where I am in my
flat) about 15 Meters away from me, but the speeds do not improve on a
different AP or when I'm right next to it.

I'm using wicd in my 64Bit install and the default network-manager in
the 32 Bit install and they both show link qualities of >80%. It's
just sad, that I have to use Windows to do most of my surfing.... =/
