lol true. i have about 3 computers atm that use linux (some i gave away,
others were salvaged for parts, and some died), however only 1 doesnt
work too great with the free driver. all the rest work out of the box. 

ofcoarse it would probably make a major difference if most of the
machines using linux were actually more newer and more powerful
machines.
