hi all,

i've been using ubuntu happily for a year now and have never seen this issue
before. google leaves me empty handed.

i plugged in an external HD formatted in NTFS and started my machine. ubuntu
came up with the error seen in the subject. if i unplug the hard drive, it
doesn't find the partition, however, windows can see it fine (dual booting,
i installed via wubi). ubuntu side it says something about busybox, and it
has a list of commands if i type HELP.

has anyone encountered this issue before? what did you do to resolve it?
