Gamming problem

Hello everybody!

I have a little problem running games in Ubuntu,

I have installed some games, and I  cant see them very good, not in quality,
but the movements are a little bad.
for example, in neverball, the ball runs and stop for less than a second ans
start moving again, and it continue doing this, like in other games that
requires graphic acceleration.
I had windows vista in this pc, and games like pro evolution soccer ran ok,
like GTA 3 and others, but in Ubuntu, they dont.

I have a geforce 7000m, with official nvidia drivers instaled, my glxgears
said:

3353 frames in 5.0 seconds = 670.509 FPS
4013 frames in 5.0 seconds = 802.370 FPS
3678 frames in 5.0 seconds = 735.472 FPS
3961 frames in 5.0 seconds = 792.145 FPS
3407 frames in 5.0 seconds = 681.133 FPS
2859 frames in 5.0 seconds = 571.662 FPS
3524 frames in 5.0 seconds = 704.685 FPS
4064 frames in 5.0 seconds = 812.698 FPS

and I hace direct rendering ok...

Someone knows what happens?
