My recommendation is to try VirtualBox:
http://www.virtualbox.org/
There is a opensource version (OSE) in the Ubuntu repositories, but they
do not include USB support. If you require USB support then download and
install the VB version directly (Binaries (all platforms).
Note: when you create the virtual machine, be sure to allocate
sufficient hard drive space as it a bit tricky to expand the space later
on. I initially allocated only 4Gb for Win2KPro and had to jocky things
around to expand it to 6GB. If you run into problems VB has a very good
