What I'm looking for is a tree structure of albums that I create myself,
the top level of the hierarchy is years, i.e. I have albums (with no
images directly in them) called 1960, 1961, 1962, etc.
Then, within those year albums I want to create albums with images in
them that have names of my choice, e.g. in 1964 I have:-
East Anglian Churches
Miscellaneous
Riding Holiday - North Pickenham
Cottage holiday
Barnet
St Albans School - End of term (?)
Cottage holiday
... and I want them to appear in that order as it's chronological.
Currently they're actually called:-
00 East Anglian Churches
00 Miscellaneous
04 Riding Holiday - North Pickenham
04 Cottage holiday
07 Barnet
07 St Albans School - End of term (?)
08 Cottage holiday
Where the numbers are the months but it's ugly/inelegant.
Digikam's albums with "View - Sort Albums - By Folder" gives me the
layout I want but I want a date (or manual) sort order of albums
rather than alphabetical.
