Ubuntu vs. Kubuntu ... just one!

Please don't get into the leaping to reinstall from scratch idea to fix 
all the problems. Of course it would.

If you have a car that doesn't have a cup holder and that really bothers 
you, buying a brand new car would solve the problem.

If you have a house that has a crack or hole in the wall, buying a new 
house would solve the problem.

However, there are other ways to fix the problem without resorting to 
drastic measures, and it would be foolish to fix minor problems by 
having the first step be to simply obliterate everything and start from 
scratch. What will you have learned from doing that? Plus people with 
this attitude are often then bitching that they "had to reinstall from 
scratch" to fix their own self-inflicted problems.
