Well, I can take solace in that I'm not alone and it apparently has 
bugtraqs on it.

Glancing through the bug tracking reports it looks like that for the end 
user, the solution is to "wait for a fix to come downstream."

I tried renaming my .mozilla directory (there was something about 
someone deleting some plugins in ~/.mozilla/plugins, but I didn't have 
that directory) and by renaming it and starting FF it would rebuild my 
configuration to a new profile, but it still crashed playing YouTube 
video number two. So...what, plugin problem, library problem, I don't know.

If there's a fix other than waiting for a fix to come down from the 
repos, please do correct me.
