Did you run "sudo make install"?
and reboot.

But before running this command, check in the Makefile if the install path 
points to the right folder.
In gutsy it should read:
MODULE_INSTALLDIR = /lib/modules/$(KERNEL_VERSION)/ubuntu/gspcav1/media/
