Bad file downloads of instructor.pdf or student.pdf for 7.1 desktop course

Hello,

I have downloaded both instructor.pdf and student.pdf files for desktop 
course (linked from newsletter #71 and elsewhere) several times, via 
dial-up. In each case, kpdf reports "could not open", -- though I can 
open other pdf downloads without problem.  Any suggestions appreciated.
