Cannot allocate resource region 7 (and 8) of bridge

Hi folks,

I installed the Ubuntu 7.10 Gutsy in a laptop Acer Aspire 3690 (*).
During the boot, the first message that it give to me is: [xx.yyyyyy]
(change in every boot) cannot allocate resource region 7 of bridge
0000:00:1C:0. Bellow this line, there is another one so similar, just
changing bridge 7 to bridge 8 and maybe te string after the bridge 8.
The problem is these 2 error messages lines desapear in a couple of
seconds and it is so difficult to write down the full message.

Beside this error, I have a EvDO PCMCIA Kyocera card. And I can't
navigate to Internet as the time I wish because the computer freezes
after 15 min to 4 hours of use when I am connected to Internet
throughout Kyocera modem. If I am not in Internet or connected by my
wifi home network, the laptop never frozen.

Do you have listened about this kind of problem before. I searched in
Google and I found just one site about this subject, but it is in a
language I can't understand.

Thanks in advanced.

Regards,
Nelson Correa
