what is wrong with the list

Go to https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-users -> 'Unsubscribe
or edit options' and check your mail delivery options.

May be some mail messages bounced from your account and it is marked as not
deliverable by the mailing list.  This can happen as there is a lot of mail
coming from this mailing list.
