Someone stop me if I'm wrong but I had intermittent sound on boot. One
time I had it and the next three boots I did not. I went to ths
synaptic and searched for Unbutu Studio and I installed everything I
found, about 150 pkgs. Everytime I boot my test machine, a cheep Soyo
Main Board with onboard sound, I get sound as well as several other eye
candy features that do not upset me and I can barely tell they are on
the harddrive when I look at the useage. Unlees one of the pros here
say no, you might try that.
