Subject: debootstrap: Fails with variable overflow (too much free space)
Package: debootstrap
Version: 1.0.8
Severity: important

It might not be too relevant, but I ran debootstrap (1.0.8 from Debian)
in a sid/i386 chroot (created by the latest debootstrap *1.0.8 from
hardy) on a ubuntu-feisty/amd64 box) and finally got this output after
running it:

[...]
The following extra packages will be installed:
   libncursesw5 libsigc++-2.0-0c2a
Suggested packages:
   tasksel debtags
Recommended packages:
   aptitude-doc-en aptitude-doc libparse-debianchangelog-perl pbuilder
libgpmg1
The following NEW packages will be installed:
   aptitude build-essential cowdancer libncursesw5 libsigc++-2.0-0c2a
0 upgraded, 5 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded.
Need to get 3260kB of archives.
After unpacking 9404kB of additional disk space will be used.
E: Couldn't determine free space in /var/cache/apt/archives/ - statvfs
(75 Value too large for defined data type)
  -> Aborting with an error
  -> unmounting dev/pts filesystem
  -> unmounting proc filesystem
pbuilder create failed
store01:/build/bin# df -h
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
sysfs                6.0T  2.4T  3.6T  40% /sys

Outside the chroot it's of course the same:
/dev/sdb              6,0T  2,4T  3,6T  40% /raid

Since hard drives are approaching the 2TB limit, I think this should be
fixed in the near future.
