Keep in mind QoS will only apply to packets you send unless you have
an arrangement with your ISP to prioritise traffic coming from their
end.[1] Another point to make is that not all routers on the Internet
honour QoS flags. The best way to ensure a reliable gaming
experience is to shed some load on the link you use, which may mean
some old fashioned people-skills with the other person you share the
router with ;)

[1] OK, you *can* apply QoS on packets from your router to the LAN,
but what's the point?? You've already received the packet and your
LAN will easily be several times faster than your Internet
connection. QoS is only really useful when links approach saturation
and/or you're routing traffic from a fast link onto a slower link.
QoS on a slow link to a fast link isn't particularly useful.
