Computer freeze!

That's the second time in two days that the computer completely freezes. The
CPU is low, and I can still see that there is some activity but nothing is
working. I can't log out(Ctrl+Alt+backspace), or pass on terminal mode
(Ctrl+Alt+F1). Does anybody has any idea of what could cause this computer
to freeze? Where should I look to know why this computer is freezing without
apparent reason. When I restart it, it has difficulties to start but does it
and everything seems to work correctly.
