dhcp problem on ethernet card

Sorry but I don't see any syntax error in my file, am I wrong?

send host-name "<hostname>";
request subnet-mask, broadcast-address, time-offset, routers,
        domain-name, domain-name-servers, host-name,
        netbios-name-servers, netbios-scope;

Suggestions are welcome.
