In a small square in front of the name is a "V" sign. Click on that to
remove that sign. Now that package will not be updated this time but the
update manager will keep asking if you want to update it. To prevent that,
you will have to "freeze" the version of the package you don't want to
update. That can be done in many ways, f.i. in Synaptic.
