Two HP printers, only one works

I have a HP 5610 All in One Officejet installed and working. 
I'd like to add a HP 5500 printer  as a default  printer for simple 
quick routine  printing;

I ran   'lpstat -v  and it shows
device for Officejet_5600_series: 
hp:/usb/Officejet_5600_series?serial=CN581CE5CD04CY
device for Officejet_5600_series_fax: 
hpfax:/usb/Officejet_5600_series?serial=CN581CE5CD04

There's nothing for the HP5500.
