Installation from CD image

Erik,

I seem to be having a problem with one of my machines CD drives. Ubuntu starts to install, but then stops and says there are errors on the CD. This is the CD that Ubuntu mails out and it worked on two other computers with no issues so I am assuming that the CD drive is the problem.

If I could install from an image, I would not have to go through the whole CD burning nonsense.

Keith

keith, can you not burn the live CD or can you simply not boot from it?
