Ubuntu 7.10 (not working on live cd )

As far as I know, the standard versions of both Ubuntu and Kubuntu comes
with smp-capable kernels, so you don't need to bother about that (in the
past you had to mess with different kernels for smp and up systems, but not
anymore).
