It is however good to have some ram, if it would happen to you that you got
in a low mem situation (very unlikely though in your case). If you have some
swap, you'll notice that things go slowly, and that it swaps a lot, and then
you get the time to shut down programs. If you don't have swap, the system
will begin to randomly kill processes for you, or just halt without any
notice. But you will be fine without swap though I think.
