Getting addresses OUT of a spreadsheet

Nor should you expect to do so.
A word processor _can_ produce flyers and brochures, but it 
doesn't do these things well because that is not what it is 
designed to do.
A spreadsheet _can_ store and sort data but it doesn't do these 
things well because that is not what it is designed to do.

Unless you have compelling reasons for storing names and addresses 
in a mathematical manipulation program, you would be best advised 
to export to CVS, transfer to a database and avoid any further 
frustration.
