Leaving a CD open

I would have to take issue over calling that a "stupid" question as I've
been trying to figure out how to get Nero to do just that in Windows.
While I can do that in Windows XP itself, I've not been able to do it in
Nero and when using Nero have had to write the entire CD at once after
collecting the files in a folder until I have a full CD's worth of data.
Perhaps seeing the solution to this question in Ubuntu will push me even
faster over to Ubuntu full time! :)
Thanks,
Dave
