This is because the CD filesystem is a read only one. To edit the image
you should use an appropriate tool, such as ISO master, as was told in
an earlier thread on this same (more or less) topic.

Thank you for all of your replies.
Actual I just want to read the image as a cd/dvd. No update needed at this 
time.
In windows I used to use daemon tools.
