Hello there,

My name is Scott Berry. I just came from the Fedora distro
 To Ubuntu. I have just followed the docs to install Exim but since I
have some Linux experience I installed some other packages and they are
raising kane with dpkg when Ireconfigure Exim. To show you what I mean I
have cut this example out of the console I was working in.

Begins Here
root at Yellobo:~# dpkg -reconfigure exim4-config

dpkg: conflicting actions -e (--control) and -r (--remove)

Type dpkg --help for help about installing and deinstalling packages [*];

Use `dselect' or `aptitude' for user-friendly package management;

Type dpkg -Dhelp for a list of dpkg debug flag values;

Type dpkg --force-help for a list of forcing options;

Type dpkg-deb --help for help about manipulating *.deb files;

Type dpkg --license for copyright license and lack of warranty (GNU GPL)
[*].

Options marked [*] produce a lot of output - pipe it through `less' or
`more' !

Ends Here

Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks very much.
