There we go! As Gerald stated, it's much easier to give you help when  
you describe the error.. however you've not really provided a great  
deal of information. The answers to these questions would be a good  
starting point:

1. Does the USB disk you made correctly boot another computer? (if  
available)

2. Have you tried using a different source iso? Or repeating the  
creation of the USB disk?

I have installed ubuntu on several Eees and also used the  
isotostick.sh method. However I used the desktop install CD rather  
than the alternate CD you are using.
