Upgrade from Breezy

I think he meant you shouldn't have waited this long.
According to press archives published on 2007-03-14 21:30 Breezy's EOL
was scheduled for April 13th 2007[0].

Personally I would not upgrade to Edgy, it will give you more
headaches. Dapper is an LTS. If you need to upgrade from it then you
can go straight from Dapper to Hardy.
If you upgrade to Edgy and then want to get to Hardy you would need to
go via Feisty and Gusty as well.

Again I would stick with LTS releases as they have a long support
cycle as you presumably do not want to frequently upgrade (judging by
the fact your using Breezy)

Dapper has 5 year support (on the server)[1] so should be fine till June 2011.
Edgy has 18 month support[2] so should be fine till April 2008.
(Both of these are estimates)

So if you do go to Edgy you may need to upgrade again pretty soon.
Otherwise if you don't need new features you can stay on Dapper for a
few years.
