[OT] Windoz Install CD and Linux?

Sorry, I missed that detail, though I do see that it was in your
original post. Sorry.

Let us know if the format helps, but I doubt that it would. Since you
mention that other bootable CDROMs boot the problem is specific to a
particular CDROM in conjunction with a particular hard drive. That is
interesting.
