Actually lots of people, when working out of town it's a nice thing to
be able to see loved ones as you chat.

My HP 9000 series laptop also has this cam but I cannot get it to work:
Bus 004 Device 002: ID 04f2:b023 Chicony Electronics Co., Ltd
I have tried loading the uvcvideo, compat_ioctl32 videodev modules which
apparently are the ones I need but camorama still says could not connect
to /dev/vide0 .
I then installed `webcam', when calling this app from the command line,
the light on the webcam actually flashes blue so I am assuming it can
communicate with the device.

I am not sure what is wrong here, to be honest I think it might be
something in my .webcamrc, I tired another program called `cheese' but
when I run this it washes out my entire desktop with white such that I
cannot read any text in the gui and have to log out of X.
Anyway, if someone knows of some other programs or tests I or the OP
might try, I would appreciate the help.
