Package: dvdisaster
Version: 0.71.26-1
Severity: important
I'm using DVDisaster to check surfaces of a just buied DVD-Video collection.
I kept all the default read options, but actived ejection media on successfull read.
After DVD scan end, I can read 0 sector error message, the tray open and crash.
So I can know if a media is good only if I continually look at the monitor,
waiting the end of the scan.
Keeping the option eject media off, leave me less time to read the end sector
count, but crash anyway. More I think that "eject on successfull" mean if it
find error, do not eject media and show a log. So I kept as a workaround.
I actived .dvdisaster.log, it end with:
....
# returned: 2935360 sectors
Supporto "Storia_11": DVD-ROM, 2935360 settori, creato 31-10-2008.
Scansione del supporto per gli errori di lettura.
Attendere 4 secondi per far avviare il drive...
Tutti i settori sono stati letti correttamente.
Sense error: Recovered Error; Codice asc/ascq sconosciuto (0x98, 0x79).
Could not unlock the medium.
