Your comments are uncalled for IMO.

My _guess_ (and we'll not know until Nick posts back), is that Nick
simply want's to limit web host access in the same manner as any other
public type webserver whereby you login to the webserver, you are only
able to see your directory and upload/make changes accordingly within
your own directory, and are not able to see and/or make changes to
another users directory and files.
