Anyone with problems upgrading alsa driver on Hardy 2.6.24 kernel?

Hi Frans.

Yes, that's exactly the same "make" complaints as I have on the Hardy 2.6.24 
kernel, and on the Debian Etch 2.6.24 etchnhalf kernel.

Thanks for your reply, which confirms the problem. this appears to be a 
problem with the 2.6.24 kernel. Earlier, or later kernels seem to have no 
problem in upgrading the alsa driver.

I think I will put the problem to the alsa devel list, and see if anyone has a 
solution.
