Access and Publisher are Microsoft programs, and as such run on the
Windows line of operating systems. If you want to use those programs
you'll need to install a virtual machine with a Windows OS, and then
the programs.
OpenOffice, a free multi-os suite of tools includes Writer, Calc,
Impress, Draw, and Base, which are equivalents to Word, Excel,
Powerpoint, Paint, and Access. You can learn more about OpenOffice
at http://openoffice.org
