Sure - check out 'man sudoers' (and then run the launcher vi sudo or
gksudo).  Although it seems overkill to require root access to be able
to print - there might be some way to lower the access requirements.
I have not checked  though...

Thanks Chris.  I always do my best work in my sleep and when I woke up
my first thought was to add gksudo to the command line in hte launcher
and now I just type the password and go.  I agree that it is extreme
over kill but then this entire Lightscribe issue, as I understand is a
H/P issue and we all know their love for MS.  Perhaps they will grow up
someday. :-)
